    This is a classic expression of someone who likely has Challenge as their Career Orientation (see the overview of the Orientations here). We all like meaningful, challenging work (notice that Challenge is right in the middle of our aggregate – not the most dominant, not the least dominant), but Challenge-oriented professionals thrive on excitement, risk and the engaging process of work. They like doing something that no one has done, pushing the envelope, developing and applying new ideas, etc. They want to be in the center of action.
