    I recently read the book Leadership and Self-Deception by the Arbinger Institute. It was recommended by my sister—I wonder if she was trying to send me a message? I found it quite powerful―it makes the point that leaders need to take a hard look at how their own behavior affects their view and treatment of others, and thereby affects how others respond to them.

    My family and I watched “The Blind Side” recently – the true story of a homeless young man, seemingly not very intelligent or capable, who turned out to be rather extraordinary when a family showed love for and interest in him. I consider this a “miracle story” that highlights the mindset of “capacity building”.
