    On Thursday, March 31, Global Novations and American Greetings hosted a live Webinar presentation, titled: Advancing a Diversity and Inclusion Initiative: How American Greetings is Transforming Compliance into Cultural Integration. The Webinar was presented by Renita Jefferson, Director of Leadership Development and Diversity & Inclusion at American Greetings, and Greg Morris, Senior Consultant at Global Novations.

    I recently read an article called The Incredible Shrinking City: Detroit is Becoming a Ghost Town. Having grown up in Detroit, Michigan, I have a keen and innate interest in its success, so it concerns me to hear the perception of its decline. The article presents the startling fact that the city population has declined 25% in the last ten years; 240,000 residents left Detroit. That’s 100,000 more people than the city of New Orleans lost after Hurricane Katrina. There are now approximately 713,000 residents of Detroit, along with countless discarded homes and buildings.
